Bottle. Thanks Dixen! Aroma. Grassy, spruce, some smoke, plant sap, chocolate, roasted malts, vegetal, coffee, dusty, vanilla, earthy, butterscotch, taste follows through. But the smoke is a lot more present, a hint of spice as well, but very subtle. Quite low carbonation, which is a bit of a shame.

Bottle:   Pours black, little sudsy brownish head, dies quickly, very little lacing.   Nice nose of chocolate, coffee, a bit of pepper, and campfire.   Smooth on the tongue, chocolate, rich roasted malts, coffee, with a noticeable heat from the Chipotle peppers.   Has a bit of sweet campfire up front, perhaps thats the coffee.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Peppery on the finish, spicy, with campfire and roasted malts.   This one was fairly tasty.   Not as big in body as I would have liked, but it was very well put together.   Thanks Bill for the bottle!

A big brew here, shared by the guys on the epic brew bus! Pours a dark brown hue with a medium white head. A big coffee nose with some roast. The flavor is mostly sweet roasted coffee, pulls out a bit of sourness, some light vegtal pepper heat, a bit of a thin palate. Quite nice. Very woody or earthy.

Sampled at an ESBLS tasting. It poured a black color with a tan head. The aroma was of chocolate, coffee, some chili spiciness and a little oats. The taste was of coffee, a chocolatey touch and a little pepper heat that is not overwhelming. Very tasty.

Sampled at an esbls tastong. Black pour with no head. A really nice nose of coffee. Coffee leads and dominates. Some chocolate is lesser. Light complex fruit and pepper arrive late. A fine beer.

Bottle. Pours a pitch black color with a small mocha colored head. Aroma is lots of coffee, slight tingling spice from the chilies, subtle smoke, roasted malt, burnt notes, dark chocolate, dark fruits and dark caramel. The flavor follows the nose and as you drink it the more chili spice you get, but lots of coffee is dominant, roasted malt, burnt notes, subtle smoke, dark chocolate and caramel and dark fruits. The body is on the lighter side of full with a creamy mouth feel, with very light carbonation. Overall a pretty nice Interpretation of the Beer Geek Brunch Weasel, but I prefer the original.

Taste is sweet, bitter, malty and slightly spicy hot with roasted malts, sweet dark bread, quality dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, alcohol, smoked chili, mint, burnt caramel, toffee, wood and vanilla fudge. Mouthfeel is smooth, soft and near full bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and slightly bitter with sweetened dark roast coffee, smoked chili, resinous wood, vanilla fudge, dark bread, toffee and dark chocolate.
