Coffee and chili pepper nose. Big, rich and roasted. Chili peppers coat your tongue and cut the sweetness. Coffee comes through nicely. Interesting, and it works.

Sweet coffee aroma. Very dark with no light getting through and no head. Carbonation was there but as an afterthought. This added to the smoothness of the beer. Creamy texture with higher than average weight. Predominant coffee flavors with roasted and smoked malts. The chipotle was not very noticeable. Great blend and a good collaboration.

750mL bottle, pours jet black with a small tan / light brown head. Aroma brings out complex coffee notes, chipotle peppers, and a touch of smoke. Flavour is intensely complex and rich, full of rich, complex coffee, moderate chipotle, and a little smoke. Silky, oily mouthfeel, dominated by the coffee and only accentuated by the chipotle a little bit. Wonderful blend of flavours, and a soft, silky palate. Wonderful.

Froma 750ml brown bottle. Jet black pour, thin layer of beige head on top but not much else. Nose has rich chocolate and roasted malts. Taste is same with thick dark chocolate malts and medium roasted malts and dark coffee. Pepper heat comes out in the throat. Medium to full bodied, mild carbonation. A nice spicy Impy.

Bottle - Crazy espresso. Jet black no head. Espresso all the way through with a chilli finish. Nice chilli beer, but the value isn’t there.

Bottle. Black with foamy dark brown head. Aroma and taste is smokey, chipotle, roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee grinds and vanilla. Creamy and full, gives a bit of a roasted impression. Nice

Imperial Stout rating #50, yay! Bottle, 2012 Pours almost black with some red/brown hues and a small brown ring clinging to the glass. Aroma has coffee, heavily roasted (almost burnt) malt, chili, subtle smoke, some dark fruit note and slight cocoa powder. Taste has tobacco/cigar, almost burnt malt, dry chocolate, coffee and smokey chili. Full bodied, low carbonation, smooth mouth feel. After taste is chocolatey dry with a lingering heat that grows with each sip.
Well balanced chili stout, really like the dryness.

Pours pitch black with a small tan ring. Smells strongly of coffee. Taste is coffee, coffee, and coffee with a little bit of smoke. Full-bodied with a smooth texture and very soft mouth-carbonation, Jester King/Mikkeller Weasel Rodeo finishes with a subtle booziness.

750mL thanks to djd07. Pours fully ink, opaque, but no carbonation to speak of. Small nucleation points. Nose is getting to that really unfortunate Danish stout nose of tar, oxidation/red apple, soy sauce. Savory but much too salty. Taste brings some modest chili pepper heat that is nice but there is no palate to create this beer. Instead the mouthfeel is like dead silt, chalky yeast in suspension with tar and soy sauce. Doesn’t come together as a beer unfortunately. Disappointing.
