Chopp. Pitch black colour, nice small but steady light brown head, ok lacing. Lovely aroma of well roasted malt and chocolate along with licorice and dark fruit. Good filling mouthfeel. Great flavour: roasted maltiness big time with chocolate, dark fruit, licorice, mild smoke, spice and bit alcohol. Good bitterness indeed.

Tap @ Mikkeller & Friends ... It pours pitch black with a small light brown head.. The aroma is loaded licorice, coffee and hard roasted malt... The flavor is loaded coffee flavors, hard roasted malt, chilli, some citric notes and strong english licorice with a warming finish...

Draught. Pours pitch black with a creamy frothy brown small head. Aroma is earthy coffee, licorice, roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel, smoke and soy. Taste is near heavy sweet and medium bitter. Body is full, texture is smooth/oily, carbonation is soft. Finishes roasted, alcoholic and a with a lingering chili burn. Very nice indeed.

Bottled. A black beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of coffee, roasted malt, and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of coffee, roasted malt, and soy sauce, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Bottle@Home. A little too much coffee flavour for me but still nice. Powerful, flavourful, quite a mouth full, a bit too sweet. A kind of beer you could enjoy in Winter. Although Easter right now it kind of feels like winter so it blends right in.

(75 cl from kbudd19. Thank you again!)
