Bottle to glass. Batch 12. Pour is a light, pale yellow. Champagne like head. Aroma is tart, funky. Hints of Apple cider vinegar, fresh fruit and grass / hay. Taste is tart, moderate salinity, fresh cut green apples. Finishes bitter, with the hops coming through with grass an earthy notes. Mmm. Palate is light body, medium carbonation. My second jester king beer, and I’m really liking them so far!

Bottle from Lawson, Batch #11, September 9, 2013. Pours a pale straw, little to no head, aroma grassy with some citrus undertones. Body slightly tart, some dry notes, finish grassy/citrus rind. Good, but not worth seeking out again.

750 ml bottle. Bright pastel yellow color, hazy, medium fine lace. Grapefruit, lemon, yogurt, minerals, zest in the nose. Creamy lemon flavor with nice level of funk and hoppiness. Much more of a real beer than Le Petit Prince, though it seems to be basically the same recipe. Lovely.

750 ml bottle thanks to errl. Pours a semi-hazy yellow with a white head of foam. Good retention. The aroma has funky herbal notes. Green, citrus hop profile. The taste picks up a little bitterness, but the funk reigns supreme. Medium body and soft carbonation. Very enjoyable beer. It would be nice in warm weather.

750 mL bottle marked Batch #15 July 16, 2014. Split with Honkeybra. Totally badass label. Golden pour with a bit of haze and high carbonation. To be expected. Funky, earthy, fruity nose. Flavor is pleasantly tart and finishes very dry. Light and refreshing. Very nice.

Batch 15. Hazy gold with good head and less than average retention. Some lacing. Aromas of brett, citrus, flowers. Flavors of spruce, lime-lemon, brett, hop resins, hints of spices (pepper?). Light to medium-light body, medium carbonation, tart, and a hint of tea-like astringency. Bitter and extremely dry finish. Awesome and unique.

750 ml bottle from Errl- thanks again! Batch 16, July 2014. Pours a hazed yellow gold with a very large, soft, frothy white head. Trailing lace. Aroma of florals, grass, bready funk, sawdust, hay, botanicals, and soap. Flavor of lemon, pineapple, florals, bready funk, soap, pine, grass, honey, and tea. Medium-bodied, with moderate soft carbonation and a funky, sweet, juicy, moderately bitter and just barely tart mouthfeel. Like just about everything else they do, there’s a lot of complexity here. Really interesting. Another winner.

Bottle thanks to Mora2000 drank during Pats v Colts game. Pours hazy yellow with lovely white sudsy head. Nose is funky tart fruits. Tastes of tangerines, grapefruit, cantaloupe, grass, hay, earthy bitters, and florals. Lively palate. Great one really lifted my spirits from being sick as a dog for parts of the weekend.
