Bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar. A hazy orange-gold brew pours out with a nice fluffy head on top. It has a fruity and funky aroma; a bit green, with grassy and leafy hops, and some yeast. The flavors are slightly tart; citrusy, crisp hops, yeasty, barnyard funk, and an underlying herbal character throughout. There’s some sturdy malt I didn’t pick up in the scent but it’s still easy and refreshing going down. Bitter and bready in the finish; the noble hops with a farmhouse like beer is interesting. There’s quite a bit going on here for a beer clocking in at less than 6% alcohol. Very good.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 moonbug (31) - Bryan, - JUN 6, 2013
Frothy but fleeting head. Cloudy wheat farm sunset. Hopped up hayloft yeast aroma...sweaty and sweet like a barnyard rendezvous. The taste is crisp and sour with hops but has a very clean finish. One might even bypass water for a gulp of this refreshing beer after a tough day of bailing.

Spunky orange with a nice head that fades quickly to a nice white cap. Aroma of a pleasant barn just filled with hay. Pleasant shot of hops accenting the wild yeasty palette. Smooth yet strong. Like getting punched with a velvet boxing glove.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Lukaduke (1071) - Portland, Maine, USA - JUN 1, 2013
Pours a slightly hazy rich golden color with a big three white finger foam that fizzles and sticks. The nose has some rustic grain, fresh hay, toothpaste and braeburn apple. The palate follows the nose with some aspects being traditional and focused dry pepper, crisp biscuit malts and a dry dusty finish. That being said there is still a minty burn that is disjointed from the rest of the palate and almost gets overly spicy with pepper bordering on cinnamon followed by a big grassy bitter finish.
