3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Høkeren in Ravnsborgsgate, Copenhagen. Pours a hazy light orange body with a massive foamy head. Aroma is citrus, pine, soap, hints of grass and wet leaves. Fresh. Taste is basement yeasty notes, citrus, blue cheese, bitter leafy vegetable-like tones and hints of orange peel. Strange, but delicious. Medium body, sparkling carbonation. Very nice.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml bottle that a friend split with me, interesting label. Cloudy orange color, almost amber. Smells sort of belgian, a little rustic (what does that even mean really?), yeasty. Taste has a hint of aspirin, I think its the hops but my buddy swears its the yeast. Either way this was quite a refreshing beer and I’d like to taste their other offerings.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
It’s gorgeous clear, golden orange with fluffy, off-white head, well sustained and leaving nice lacing. It’s got a bright piny aroma, with a bit of citrus and some dank barnyard and hay. After it warms just a bit, it’s a little earthy, biscuity, mild bitters and sweetness. The noble hops do great with this farmhouse style, great concept, well executed. The finish is semi-dry. Mouthfeel is medium-full. It’s a great brew.
