Earthy noble hops and rustic farmhouse yeast create an elegant balance in this dry and drinkable golden ale. Naturally carbonated through re-fermentation in the bottle.

Bottle from Proof. Light hazy gold pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma of yeast funkiness, sourdough, lemon rind, light white peppercorn spice and citrus. Flavor is similar with more zesty citrus, funk and yeast spice. Palate is nice bubbling as to it and hoppy citrus in the finish. Very solid.

.750 ml. bottle. Batch #9/10, Apr 2013. Pours a medium, well retained white head, with some lacing, over a slightly hazy (bottle conditioned) orange gold (SRM 5) body....nose is light citrus with lemon, orange tones, cereal, earth, hints of barnyard funk, hints of hop spice.....taste is light citrus, with hints of sweetness initially, bits of funk, finishing dry with a moderate slightly harsh bitterness.....mouth feel light of medium, carbonation low with a clean acid finish. This falls nicely into the Belgian Blond Ale style. It is nicely balanced, has good complexity in both aroma and flavor. The bitterness on the finish is ever so slightly harsh, but this beer is 9 months old and hops will evolve in that time. BJCP 8/3/15/4/7

Dry, fruity (mostly citrus) with a little spice. Nice tart and sour finish. A great example for this style of beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ a recent bottle share... Poured mildly cloudy yellowish with a medium forming head. This was great. Mouthfeel was just right. Hoppy and floral without being too bitter. Nice yeast and citrus notes going too. Tropical fruits, earthy and grassy.

Bottle (750 ml). From SlovakSniper, thanks! Hazy golden with a huge mostly lasting white head and some lacing. Aroma is of farmhouse yeast, light acidic presence/citus, noble hops, fruity notes and grassy. Taste is of citrus, farmhouse character, spices with a sharp bitter finish. Light/medium body, but there’s something lacking (Belgiumness? cereals?). Moderate/good carbonation. Dry finish. Good rustic Belgian Ale. With a couple refinements to the palate, this one could become really good! Drinkable.
