Bottle, 75cl, at TFODRBSG 2012. A lightly unclear, golden-orange beer topped by a dense, finger-thick off-white head leaving some lacings. Lightly chalky on the nose, but mostly citrusy and resiny. Generic fruityness. A touch of yeast and pale malts. Quite bitter on the palate, piney and resiny, with some grapefruit peel. Full bodied and dry on the palate, a bit heavy on the carbonation maybe, but still pleasant. Lasting finish. A rather pleasant one, easy drinkable, except for the level of carbonation. 120818

750 from Capone’s and Blue Dog. Pours turbid deep golden with huge clingy white head that laces well. Nose is big coriandery spices, lemongrassy and limey citrus, pale malt, funky yeasty esters. Tastes medium in palate heft, with hopcitrus, heavy floral spiciness, lemon/limey citrus, and spare funky yeasty esters. This one is complex and very good.

Cloudy deep golden pour, decent layer of off whtie head and light lacing .... aroma is of grassy and floral saaz hops, spicy fruity yeast and peppery .... taste is fresh and fruity with a nice spicy grassy floral hop bite, light lemon, fruity yeast, light wheat, lightly grainy and caramel malts with black pepper flavors as well ... dry and spicy bite that lingers into the finish ... very fresh flavors and a light hop oil mouthfeel .... well done

Bottle... Murky golden ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Great retention. The bouquet is full of both floral and citrus notes – lime and lemon stand out. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and airy carbonation. The flavor provides both yeasty and earthy bitterness with only mild acidity. Finishes tangy and bready. Really good stuff. Kudos to biggsbowler for sharing this with the South Florida crew!

Hazy golden color with white head. Nice dry, earthy, bretty, pale malt, spicy hop aromas. Medium body. Citrusy hop, spicy dry yeast, dusty pale malt flavors, drying bitter finish--good

. Pours a dull orange hue with a semi-hazy clarity. Head is 2.5 inches, bright white and fluffy in texture. Thick rings of lacing are formed as the head gradually dissipates into ahalf inch creamy dollop. Nose expresses citrus, Saaz, lemon zest, a hint of candi sugar and a mild spice profile (coriander and pepper), as well as slight yeast presence and a suggestion of ethanol. Taste follows nose; however, there’s more of an earthy hops character. Mouthfeel is medium-light in body (but closer to light) with a pleasant, even carbonation and a semi-dry finish. Overall, a solid domestic representation of the style. Fairly clean with more of ahoppy presence, but definitely within style parameters.

I can’t believe I never added my rating.....odd. Drinking now out of bottle. Pours a superb looking lightly hazy gold with pillowy white head. Aroma has hints of hoppy citrus and fresh cut grass. Flavor is same as aroma with hints of delicate tropical fruits notes with a very pleasing, non aggressive bitterness. Mouthfeel is light body with fizzy carbonation. Overall, great brew!!!
