A golden colored, high gravity (O.G. 1.074) ale, brewed with pilsner, wheat and caramunich malts, along with a good dose of American hops and fermented with Jester Kingís farmhouse yeast, finishing at 9.3% alcohol by volume. It is a hop forward beer with dank, resinous hop flavor and aroma, balanced by lightly kilned malt flavors, farmhouse yeast esters and a bit of warming alcohol.

Bottle. Pours a dark hazy orange body with a big rocky white head. Aroma is wheat, caramel, citrus, white wine, farmhouse/saison yeast, hints of herbs, spruce and floral honey. Taste is nuts, wheat, caramel, biscuits, herbs, licorice, hints of grains, farmhouse yeast and grapes. Full body, high carbonation. Intriguing stuff, very original and tasty as well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ a recent tasting... Poured hazy golden/yellow with a thick white head. Straight forward, easy drinking with big citrus tones and yeast esters along with some floralness. Some effervescent fruit and yeast characters stuck around on this one with a mild funk at the start and the finish.

Bottle, over a year old at this point. Pours a bright and clear light copper body with a beautiful one inch frothy bright white head that left lots of lacing. Nice light visible carbonation. Very bright and inviting looking. The nose is pale malt, some nice light slightly sweet esters with a heavy yeast influence. Very subtle and delicate aroma, not overpowering in any specific quality, just light and airy, despite the slightly noticeable alcohol. The flavor is pretty heavy in the malt, yet it still feels very light and delicate with a lot of liveliness. Thereís a light hoppiness thatís still in here, but itís very subtle and light with minimal bitterness. This is all about the interplay between the malt and yeast by products instead of the hops that the commercial description talks about. Despite the heavy alcohol, this still seems way lighter than your average 9% beer. Lingering sweet honey maltiness with a light hoppiness. Fizzy and spritzy carbonation level adds to the lightness and lack of alcohol heat. This is a really nice beer, goes to show that a little cellar time sometimes does good things for some of these heavy Belgian style beers.

Sampled at an esbls tasting. Hazed golden with a thin off white layer. A funky fruity nose. A farmhouse flabor leads. It is funky, malty, and fruity. It smooths out shortly and becomes a bit buttery. Soft fruit. This is nice.

Fresh American style farmhouse yeast aroma. Enormous bubbly white head on hazy yellow. Smooth drinking and very drinkable farmhouse, with enough hops to keep it on the bitter side and interesting. Some spice in the finish.

Very hop forward with a tangy, pungent aroma of banana and yeast. Tastes exactly like it smells- almost sour but controlled.
