Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus. Clear golden color, small white head that disappears quickly. Aroma and taste are pretty fresh and slightly citrussy with a nice light bitterness in the end. Pretty good for a non-alcohol beer.

Crystal clear golden colour with a frothy white head. Aromas of malt, grain, straw and a light floralness arises. Light lively, light body with mainly bready flavour notes and a faint hop trace. Short finish.

Bottle. Pale golden color, white head. Malty aroma. Fairly hoppy flavor with herbal notes. Light body, medium carbonation. Not bad for non-alcoholic.

Bottle. Pale golden. Herby hoppy, pale malty nose. Initially quite ok, but turns quickly grainy carboardy. Light miuthfeel, horrible grainy old leafy harsh malts. And a strong herby, sort of murky twigsy thing. I would probably prefer the domestic ’kotikalja’ non-alcos over this.

(Jever Fun) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a lager glass. Golden yellow colour on the body, crazy continuous activity in the glass. Almost two fingers of white thick head, with very good retention, leaving heavy lacing around the glass. Aroma is very malty, some straw too. Taste is sweet, lots of malts, cornflakes, dirty hay, dust, metal. Bitter aftertaste though. Medium body, average carbonation. Nothing special, but if you’re not allowed to drink it would be okay I guess.

From a 330ml bottle. I thought this was OK for an alcohol free beer. Decent grassy hop bitterness. Watery light bodied palate as befits this category.

Couleur dorée, bonne mousse blanche. Nez malté doux. Gout malté doux avec amertume moyenne astringente, très sèche et corps aqueux. Malgrés tout rafraichissante.

33cl bottle from Biernavigatie. Clear yellow/golden with a small white head. Light body with moderate carbonation. Bitter and metallic with some sweet tones. A watery bitter brew with a far too metallic aftertaste.

knutole (75) - Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - JUN 13, 2014
aroma: hoppy, watery, bitter appearance: pale colour taste: slighlty sour, no clear hop aroma, quite bitter for a non alcoholic beer, watery, slighlty sweet; one of the better non alcoholic beers

Extracting alcohol extracts the very spirit of this beer - bitterness gone, metallic aftertaste too.

Leini (1091) - SWEDEN - MAY 17, 2014
330ml bottle. Clear bright yellow body with a low white, brief, head. More "artificial sugary" than malty, with a hint of grass and citrus.
