Bottle. Strong barley wort aroma. Clear golden yellow color with small head. Slightly sweet barley wort and moderately bitter grass/quinine flavor. Nice for a low alcohol - what I expected from Jever.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 EithCubes (3050) - GERMANY - OCT 10, 2011
Bottle, green glass, by 05/12. No skunk in this one, a light whiff of grass and faint malt in the nose. Pours clear, very pale golden with a white head. Taste has that undiminished, characteristic Jever bitterness that lasts and lasts with perhaps less balancing sweetness/malt; of course nowhere near Nanny State Territory but it still has that unforgiving, brutal quality that always has me glad I didn’t buy a case. Medium, soft body with a significant hop bite. Pretty good for a Shankbier-conversion.

0,3 l fles. Een beetje weinig smaak toch nog iets bitter. Niet slecht voor een alcohol arm bier in elk geval geen chemisch smaakje.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Koelschtrinker (6544) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 12, 2011

Pours pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is light metallic grassy hop, with notes of hemp. Flavour is watery, light malt, bitter and light grassy hop.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Saarlander (1664) - Saarlouis/ Rancho Cucamonga,CA, GERMANY - MAR 10, 2006
2.7% alc in my sample, bought in Saarlouis, Deutschland. The thing I love about Jever is the bitterness, and it carries over to this one as well, I know its not regular Jever, but flavor is closer than any euro "light" bier I´ve had to its original, very drinkable, if I chose a low alc pils, this would be it.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Christian (8042) - Odense, DENMARK - APR 11, 2010
Yellow with a lasting white head. Aroma of grassy and herbal hops, with a touch of grainy malt. Thin, dry and hoppy flavour with a little wort-like malt. Rather watery, but bitter finish.
