Bottle. Metallic aroma. VERY pale colour, unstable head. Sweet, citric aspartam flavour. Worse than most other mixes.

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2005 (Bottlle 33 cl) A "Bier-Limetten-Mix", oh, don’t I just love the German language. 51% beer, 49% lemonade. Somewhat sharper bitterness than in a normal Radler/Alsterwasser - probably from the bitter citrus-lime. Odd yellow-green colour. Absolutely no head. Quite fresh. 200305

A yellow beer with a small white head. Both the aroma and flavor are dominated by lime - and this is not supposed to be in a beer.....

Bottle. Golden color with a small white head. Well.......Lemon aroma and taste.....and thin. Light watery body and a sweet finish. ?

Thin watery brew with hints of the fruit in both aroma and flavor. This is not a good beer.

Well, even good brewers have to keep up with the latest trends and worry about profits, I guess. Nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately this just isn’t a good beer. The lime taste and smell is at least different and could potentially blend well with a high-hopped beer. It’s just too sweet and drink-like here. Thin, weak and really without much merit.

Like bierkoning stated - I can’t believe the brewery did this. I love the Jever Pils but this is unreal - in a bad way. Clear watery nothing, terrible artificial, nose hair burning smell. Lemon peel taste, man that’s a catastrophe.

Terrible brew! Not much taste & that not at all appelaing. Sulphury-citric aroma! Never again for this one!
