COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dieser helle und sehr bekömmliche Maibock aus dem friesischen Brauhaus zu Jever erhält durch das weiche Brauwasser und eine Spur mehr Hopfen seinen besonderen, jevertypischen Geschmack.

Yellow liquid, sweet aroma. Mouth feel is sticky, malt syrupy and the flavour is quite honey like. It’s a good beer really, but from the makers of Jever Pils, I’d hoped for so much more bang in the hop department.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow. Head is white and disappears quickly. Aroma is sweet, malty and floral. Quite full mouthfeel. Vinious, sweet and well-rounded.

Bottle. Clear golden colour with mostly diminishing white head. Malt and hops in both flavor and aroma. Some oily bitterness in the average finish. Strange brew - but quite good.

Bottle. Small head with short duration. Color is golden. Aroma is malt and hops. Taste is straw, malt and hops. Also tastes of some odd herb that I cannot describe. Maybe its the type of hops that is used. Long foul aftertaste. Quite disappointing. Worst bock I have ever had.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Good Maibock from the bitterst brewers of Germany, with orange look, bitter taste and some sweetness.

duff (5483) - St, Margarets, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 16, 2007
UPDATED: FEB 20, 2007 Bottle. Has the nice dry bitterness in the finish of the regualr pils, but with some more lightly sweet malt notes to it. Nice grassy finish. A very nice pale bock.
