A crystal clear light golden brew with light bubbly carbonation. Light hoppy and sweet malt aromas and flavors with a crisp, refreshing flavor. Clean finish with a lingering hoppy bitterness. Very well made stuff. Highly unappreciated style.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 elgiacomo (565) - Chickamauga, Georgia, USA - OCT 10, 2010
11.2oz bottle, best by May 2011. Pours clear yellow with a large fluffy white head that leaves some clumpy spots of lacing and holds a fair cap. Aroma is herbal and grassy with some citrus and noble hops, some mineral character, bready and yeasty, moderate to good strength. Flavor is very nice for the style with some good citrus notes, noble hops, grassy, a touch of light malt sweetness...just a touch, finishes nice and dry. Very crisp and refreshing and quite enjoyable on this nearly 90-degree October day. Mouthfeel is light but somewhat creamy for the style, good carbonation. An excellent German Pilsner. We’ve got a customer who has bought nearly 10 cases of this this year and I can see why!

Very refreshing german pilsner and one of the few I got to drink very cold all the time where available. Golden yellow looks, average white foam. Aroma of malt, herbs. Medium sweetness and very far citrus in the taste. Average carbonation, not so long after taste. Very good.

Bottle pours a clear gold brew with a thin white head. Scent of sweet malts, hay and a whiff of corn. Taste is sweet and bready with a light bitter finish.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Leighton (3595) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 12, 2010
Tap at Brouwerij Lane. A very basic - though solid! - German Pilsner. Pours clear and bubbly with a yellow hue and a fine, white head. Light hop aroma with some malts. Flavor is sweet with a pleasant hop crispness. Light to medium in body with fizzy carbonation. Finishes crisp and clean with some mild bitterness and lingering malty sweetness. Good.

Really, at this point, all I can say is that this is yet another tasty German pilsener. At this point, I’m still not tired of them. Crisp with a very dry finish. Nice stuff.
