From a can. Clear yellow with a medium head. When you open the can, you can already notice an aromatic hoppy smell. In its taste its quite bitter and dry with malty notes. The carbonization is a bit flat.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 callmemickey (710) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 12, 2012
A: Light golden body. Minimal head with little lacing.
S: Clean floral, grassy hop bitterness dominates.
T: Like the nose, this beer is dominated by a clean, floral, grassy hop bitterness. Slight breaded malts in the background.
M: Light body, heavily carbonated. Refreshing.
O: Overall a very solid german pils. A solid, refreshing beer for a nice warm day. Not as complex as what the american craft brewers have been pulling off with this style, but a good find nonetheless.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 edpeg (254) - Berlin, GERMANY - JAN 11, 2012
Light yellow in colour. Aroma malty. Taste sweet malty, some grass. And naturally long hopped bitter end, the trademark of Jever. Although the start of the style is boring the long bitternes makes this always a could choice a pils. Drinking this warm can also gives out more nuances.

Bottle 33cl. Nice clean crisp pilsener with a beautiful hoppy nose and that refreshing malty underline. One of the better industrial german beers that still has its own character preserved.
