Unique in taste. The secret lies in the water, which is still taken from the same well used well over 100 years ago. The water from our well is unusually pure and soft. That allows us to add a touch more hops to create the Friesian-bitter taste that distinguishes Jever Pilsner from any other beer.

Bottiglia.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2016 Barwa slomkowa.

BBD 11/16. Clear golden pour. Outstanding head volume, very good lacing and quite outstanding retention. Outstanding nose of light airy grassy hops with a touch of herbal thrown in. Underneath is a grainy note that is not quite cracker biscuit. Heavy light body that is very smooth with just a slight oiliness. World class carbonation / body balance. Middle effervescence is moderate and the finish is prickly...just the right balance. The flavor profile is very good but lacks a touch of sweetness for complexity, contrast and balance. Bitterness is mild. Hop flavor consists of grassy up front then shifts to herbal in the middle. Herbal flavor flows through the finish and lingers along with a residual bitterness.
