COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unique in taste. The secret lies in the water, which is still taken from the same well used well over 100 years ago. The water from our well is unusually pure and soft. That allows us to add a touch more hops to create the Friesian-bitter taste that distinguishes Jever Pilsner from any other beer.

Couleur dorée, bonne mousse blanche. Nez bien malté, houblonné un peu citronné. Gout de bonne amertume bien houblonnée. Rafraichissante!

330 mml bottle tasted on 11/06/2014. Clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is light and skunky. Taste is nothing special and a little bitter. Afetrtaste is metallic and skunky. Next one please!

Clear golden color with white foam. Very herbaceous aroma, with hops presence. Very bitter taste, from the beginning to the end due to the hops, low carbonation. Very refreshing.

500ml can. Pours a clear pale straw colour with a thin white head. The nose is light, with grassy, straw, and floral notes. Yup, smells like a Euro-Pils. The taste is metallic hops up front that stick around well into the finish, light grassy notes, light malt, and light yeasty notes. It is what it is. When it’s hot out this beer would be nothing to complain about.

Bottle from Rehills Newcastle. Pours light golden colour, decent foamy white head. Slightly bitter, metallic taste which takes the edge off it's refreshment value but still an interesting pilsner.

Bottle. The beer wasn’t memorable but the moment was. I was at number 9 Mosley Street, that’s all I need to know about what was happening. Mint. Golden lager appearance with a thin to medium white head. Not really my kind of thing at all, herby, dry. I quite like a pilsener every now and then, this didn’t do it for me.

quite a smooth beer, i had it from tap in Berlin. light golden body, but the head dies pretty fast. in terms of strength, it’s just a middle, or a bit lighter than it feels to be at first taste. the price was a bit high, but on holidays, we afforded it.

A good pilsner but nothing to write home about. Metalic aroma, bitter apple flavor. Just ok.

Pours golden with very nice white head. Some lacing. Some aroma of noble hops, caramel and sweet malt. Light palate with spritzy carbonation. Aftertaste has a very nice noble hop bite. Overall: Well done! The hop bite in the aftertaste is the biggest i have ever tasted from a commercial pils.
