COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unique in taste. The secret lies in the water, which is still taken from the same well used well over 100 years ago. The water from our well is unusually pure and soft. That allows us to add a touch more hops to create the Friesian-bitter taste that distinguishes Jever Pilsner from any other beer.

Simply no great shakes; maybe it just doesn’t travel well, but after a small shot of a Victory Prima and a Pilsner Urquel, this just doesn’t measure up. Pale straw color. Color accurately announces a beer that is thin in the mouth and lacking in malt. Yeah, it’s hopped, but this is just not a great pils.

Bottle. Pours a pale yellow colour with a white head. Crisp, but thin, on the nose. The flavour is bitter hops, bitter hops and bitter hops. The finish is bitter hops. Not bad, maybe a bit one-sided, but not bad.

A nice pilsener. Aroma was light malt, hops and a bit of skunk but not enough to ruin it. Pour was a nice clear light gold with a 2 finger white head. Taste was a little flat, but nice pilsener taste. LIght malt, a bit of grass and a hoppy bite in the finish. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Not bad.

Pale yellow pour with lingering thick frothy head. Aroma heavy with malt and very little hops. Taste is very light with a prdominately bready taste and a lingering metallic bitter finish.

A big soapy head distinguishes he appearance of this beer. Aroma is Saaz hops hop and some grass. Flavor is bread, honey and lemon. Hard to get excited about this beer.

Golden body and a tall white head. The aroma and flavor are bead crusty, a bit yeasty, and lemon grass like. The palate starts sweet but ends dry and bitter... yet a hint of honey is still present. A nice flavorful and mildly complex pilsner.
