4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 jeverszeuge (202) - GERMANY - AUG 28, 2007
well - a brewery named after me... no question i have to try the beer. and it seems to me that test # 100 is a good opportunity. of course, i will top the average tasting-result. but that´s normal for the favourite beer.
mid-pilsy colour. large and solid head. smell of hops, dominant, a grassy way (hops and hemp are related closely). starts with a bitter hopsy taste. mid brings some hops. the end is hopsy. ok, sometimes some malt seems to be there, too. but this is straight stuff. north-german style. maybe not everybody´s darling - but mine.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 harrisoni (9608) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 20, 2007
500ml bottle. Pale gold, thick white lasting head. It’s a very crips pils, good herby hop on end, bit metallic, heavy carbonation. Very pleasant and drinkable. Nothing amazing, but clean, competent and hoppy.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Maria (7805) - Thisted, DENMARK - AUG 10, 2007
Light golden with a nice head and a hoppy aroma. The flavour is slightly dry, hoppy and it has a nice bitterness developing from light to just right. It’s has a tiny hint of metal, but otherwise a very quenching pilsner.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 kmweaver (3025) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - AUG 6, 2007
12oz bottle. Pours a clear golden color; fluffy white head with strong retention and lacing. Light mineral and citrus aroma; a bit of floral hops. Light-to-medium mouthfeel: nice crispness upfront; herbal and mineral notes, with a slightly juicy citrus character; pleasant in the mouth and very drinkable, but there’s also a stale / papery note in there that detracts from things; its not offensive, but it doesn’t help. Medium, cardboard and citrus finish.

500 ml bottle. Pale gold with a decent white head. Aroma of floral hops. Flavour started with a hint of malt sweetness, before the hops kicked in. Easy drinking with a smmoth finish. A very good pils.
