3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had this on tap at the Horseshoe Pub in Hudson. Has a clear golden color with little head and some carbonation. Smell is of light hops. Taste is lightly malted and finished with a slightly sour bitterness. Overall not the best pilsner and could be even better, but for the sour taste.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle from a Comarket in Tallinn (€ 0,99), Sept 2014. Right after opening the bottle I realise I’m not gonna enjoy this. Pours a clear pale golden with a white head that retains and laces nicely. Nose... terribly skunky, guttery, grassy, herbal, cereal, mildly sweet. Taste... grassy, malty, plain awful. The mild sweetness is accompanied by some bitterness. Thin body and somewhat watery palate, lively carbonation. This is crap. I really shouldn’t review such things.

2.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
This is not one I would get again. First of all the aroma isn’t right. Perhaps I got a bad keg, or maybe the class wasn’t quite clean, but it smells a little skunky. Hops are too strong, need to tone it down. Pilsners are typically very refreshing, this one was a labor to get through

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2014-09-09. Pale yellow small white head. Aroma of doughy pale malt and floral hops. 6+ Flavour has nice dry grassy bitterness over sweet doughy pale malt. Floral touches average palate soft carbonation. Decent but not really for mw, mild overall. Can shared by Tuqueboy

Drunk from 50cl bottle bought in Pforzheim, Germany. Particularly bittery hoppy pilsener. Excellent.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear gold pour, medium white head. Clean cereal aroma, with light grass. Mouth feel and carb as up to par for the style. The finish is a littler hopier than the aroma. Slme decent green grass notes, solid pale malts and cereals....nice pils. I was impressed.

My favorite beer - each bottle is a delight.
A bit of an acquired taste - probably not a fave for the US budweiser crowd.

The taste indeed is quite unique, a lot of herbal aroma. Bitter taste. But I’m not sure if this uniqueness makes it good or just strange. After first Jever I’m not a fan.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Erfrischend, gut.
