On tap @ 2008 Czech Beer Festival, Prague.(29.05.2008) Served as Jihlavsky Jezek 14 Kvasnicove. Comes slightly hazy golden colour, big white head. Malty and fresh yeast aroma, grass and citrus as well. Well balanced taste, some sweet notes of malts leans towards the nice hoppy end. Refreshing

500 ml bottle. Pale golden colour. Crystal clear. Tall fine-laced
fluffy white head that clings to the glass. Refreshing malty and
floral aroma. Full bodied with a rich malty flavour. Sweet
malts. Sharp hop bitterness that ends up with a dry papery
flavour. Soft texture. Refreshing and sweet at the same time. Quite
nice.

Biggish very white head. Coppery body with light carbonation. Sugary malty toffee aroma with floral notes. Dry-sweet papery malty sugary toffee taste with floral straw notes. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Fullish body. Dry strwa and grain aftertaste with floral grassy notes. Dangerously drinkable. (0.5l bottle from gr0ve. Label says 6.0%.)

(6/24/08) Bottle at Pivovarsky Klub in Prague. As "Ježek Special Svetly". Clear golden color with a big, slowly-diminishing, white head. Aroma of grainy malt and light hop hints. Sweetish flavor with malt and some light hoppy bitterness later. Light to medium body.

Bottle from a random night club in Plzen, this was 4 months out of date. Malty sweet lager, small caramel note, some grassy herbal character.

Probably not doing it enough justice; fluffy head which didn’t last too long, clearly hoppy, some fruitiness in there; slightly darker amber, very faint wisps of gas rising; bitter, quite gassy, generous roasting, plenty of hops, full flavour.

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white creamy head. Aroma is malts, hops and some earth along with some sugary sweetness. Flavour is yeast, malts, hops, mild notes of alcoholic sweetness. Refreshing brew.

bottle from Pivní Galerie. Clear golden yellow, medium-size head. Bitter-sweet aroma. Lovely creamy palate, full-bodied, bitter-sweet. Very malty and intensively hoppy. Brewed just with water, malt and hops, no additional sugar, which is slightly unuaual for a Czech 14° beer. Hints of honey, mixed with resiny and herbal hops. A very well-balabced and lovely beer.
