This bottled brew from a rating party poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a transparent strongly carbonated light yellow-orange colored body and an excellent lacing. The sy. The semi-thick mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The typical lagerish flavor contained notes of malt and soft hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

Hazy yellow with a white head. Weird vegetal/grain/smoke aroma. Taste was a lightly sweet boiled corn with a watery grassy finish. This was... odd.

What a label! Big pound plus bottle. Looks like hazy light pale lager, almost wheatish. Smell reminds me of old bottled lager too. Has an old lager beer flavor, aged, yah know? Low alky makes this tolerable. Somewhat weird, I’d like to try this fresh. I think taj mahal may have been better. This stuff even has trouble hiding 4.5%, tastes more like 6. I had some aged bedgy bottled lager that tasted like this.

650ml bottle. It struggles for form a head when it pours, it just immediately fizzles away. The body is a hazy gold. The smell is almost nothing, but a hint of corn flakes, a pinch of honey, and white bread. The taste is like sour bread flavored water, low carbonation. Just really vile Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 12-01-2010 23:18:22

650 mL bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with not much of a head. Aroma of sweet, syrupy malts with a bit of toastiness. The taste is grassy hops, toasted malts with a bit of a sugary finish and some apple-like fruit notes. Light and a little on the watery side. Much like your typical Indian restaurant fare. 5/11/10.

650 ml bottle of pure liquid nastiness. Poured about as attractive as a glas full of urine. Aroma of rotting cereal grains, corn and white grapes. Watery palate yet finishes slightly smokey yet this isn’t a rauchbier. Flavor is just plain disgusting. I did manage to knock off yet another country but at what price, I feel like I sold my soul over this one.

Had this at Mayura Indian Resto in Milwaukee last night with dinner. Poured with small, soap bubble, white head and no lace. Color was gold. Aroma was most notably smokey along with some malt and a little hop. Flavor was about the same. Body was on the heavy side for the style and little carbonation. Finish was what you’d expect from the above description. Couldn’t finish the bottle of 500 ml. Friend I shared it with who used to be a high end beer distributor, agreed. Not a session.

bottle at Ft Wayne tasting - Pours clear yellow and bubbly. It has a mild, grainy malt aroma and a bland malt flavor. It’s thin, it’s watery, and it’s just not good. Why?

Bottle from Beer Geek. Pours a light hazy gold with a decent fluffy white head. Aromas are sort of citric and biscuit. Near medium body with full carbonation. There’s a metallic tang, but it’s not all that obtrusive. I’m getting something like fruit/citrus over light malt. Finishes rather clean. Lightlly bitter - like a touch of lemon peel. IMHO it’s better than many pale lagers.
