Commercial Description:
Extraordinary beer made only from malt-house, water from the granite historical wells of Jihlava´s brewery and from the soft hops products. The uniqueness is given extraordinally full taste, soft malt taste and scent. Even thought the alcohol content is 8,1% its taste is ranked among classical Czech beers - nicely bitter, with the stable foam and bread-taste. Also its colour distinguishes "Jihlavský Grand" from the others - it´s honey-gold.

Tap @ Zly Casy, Prague. Pours amber with a creamy stable white head and lacings. Nose and taste is malty. Sweet caramel, grain and a bit of alcohol. Chewy malty and medium bodied. The alcohol is a bit up front. But a fine E.S.L

Bottle. Golden color. Citrus aroma, buttery and flowery. Malty sweet citric cookie dough flavor with some flowery hops shimmering through. Pineapple. Just a bit vinous. Grassy hops and butter in the aftertaste. Sticky mouthfeel, but quite nice.

Bottle courtesy of Milos- As the descriptor says, it is honey gold. Deep honey. Nose is full of honey too. Lots of malts and sugars, orange peel, a bit alcoholic. Tastes sweet but not balanced. Syrupy malts and citrus peel essence meet candied malts and browns sugars are overwhelming at times. Slick, syrupy finish is sweet and lengthy. Thanks Milos!

Clear golden color with tiny white head. Moderate sweet malty aroma slight alcohol feel. Sweet syrupy malts with harsh grassy hoppy interuption and some faint vegetables from the background. The aftertaste is pretty neutral with grassy, metallic feel. Medium body with well hidden alcohol, but very one dimensional flavor. Although it’s not too balanced, but quite drinkable anyway.

Bottle, 8.0%. Almost clear copper colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is quite malty and sweet. Has a little spicy/sweet hoppiness. Sweet, but OK balanced by the alcohol.
