Extraordinary beer made only from malt-house, water from the granite historical wells of Jihlava´s brewery and from the soft hops products. The uniqueness is given extraordinally full taste, soft malt taste and scent. Even thought the alcohol content is 8,1% its taste is ranked among classical Czech beers - nicely bitter, with the stable foam and bread-taste. Also its colour distinguishes "Jihlavský Grand" from the others - it´s honey-gold.

500ml bottle purchased at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Clear amber coloured body under a pearl white head leaving crocheted lacing behind. Bread and brown malty nose. Malt driven taste of sweet grain with some impact of caramel. Fruity hints to a malty ending. Vague hints of alcohol. Quite alright with the pizza, in danger of getting overly sweet though (Tromsř 22.11.2014).

Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body under a dense, two finger off-white head. Very malty aroma with honey and some flowers. Fruity too, both in the nose and in the mouth. Honey, pale malts, some bitterness and flowers. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. Fruity, malty and sweet finish. Quite interesting this one, but nothing more. 141114

Big offwhite head. Clear amber body with carbonation. Grainy toffee syrup aroma with strawy herbal notes. Dry-sweet grainy mealy fruity taste with toffee and grass notes. Fullish body. Slightly hot mouthfeel. Dryish grainy grassy honey aftertaste with spicy meaty notes. Nice, a bit dense, but still drinkable. Could do without the meaty flavours. (0.5l bottle, from wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

From bottle 16.10.14. Dark golden. Persistent off-white head and lacing. Sweet aroma of orange marmelade, mango and tropical fruits. Taste is well-balanced with malt. Good drinkability. Dried fruits in aftertaste. A slight hint of burnt rubber throughout.

Bottle. Pours a deep golden clear body with a medium creamy white head. Nose is nougat, syrup, straw, maize and hints of bread and yeasty esters. Taste is syrupy malts, straw, maize, sugar and hints of bread, grass and alcohol. Medium, oily body and medium carbonation. Not too pleasant; a bit over-the-top maize-ish sweet and bitter-alcoholic at the same time.
