Extraordinary beer made only from malt-house, water from the granite historical wells of Jihlava´s brewery and from the soft hops products. The uniqueness is given extraordinally full taste, soft malt taste and scent. Even thought the alcohol content is 8,1% its taste is ranked among classical Czech beers - nicely bitter, with the stable foam and bread-taste. Also its colour distinguishes "Jihlavský Grand" from the others - it´s honey-gold.

500 ml bottle at home, poured into a big Guinness glass, ABV 8% Deep copper orange colour on the body with good acticity in it. Clear, with a tall and thick off-white head, with great retention, leaving medium lacing on the glass. Aroma has plenty of malts and sugar as I expected, but is also quite fruity, with ripe red fruits, so that’s a plus. Taste is sweet, very malty, a bit medicinal, some notes of alcohol but it doesn’t feel like an 8% beer, lots of sugar, kumquats. Very good! Meduim body, good carbonation, very smooth, a bit sticky on the palate. Great surprise this one, I expected a malty mess but it proved me wrong. Very drinkable, proceed with caution.

Bottled. Dark brown body with a very thin white foam. Aroma is interesting - sweet malts, even some hops, but a portion of alcohol in the aroma is a bit dissapointing, although not completelly. Tastes a bit thick, again, alcohol amount is overwhelming, could be done much better actually. There are caramels, malts there, slightly hopped finish, but alcohol... sooory.
