Jihlavský Grand 18°

Bottled. A golden beer with a slight haze under a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with noets of bread and malt as well as light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of alcohol, leading to a dry bitter and alcohol finish. The body is quite powerful.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Grovlam. Clear, deep golden with a rough, off-white head. Sweetish aroma with distinct alcohol. Fat and full-bodied, intensely malty with something reminding me of sherry and a warming alcoholic finish. 150109

Bottled. Deep golden, small head. Fruity and sweet, medium-full bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Really hoppy, but also very sugary. Rich chewy malt tries to balance it. Long bitterness.

50 cL bottle, courtesy of Grovlam. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Distinct malt and alcohol aroma. Sweet malty and mild spiced flavoured. Subdued bitterness. Distinct alcohol and solid malty flavoured. Smooth hoppy yet also alcoholic finish.

Bottle, 8.0%. Almost clear copper colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is quite malty and sweet. Has a little spicy/sweet hoppiness. Sweet, but OK balanced by the alcohol.

Bottle, thaks to Morten for sharing. Clear golden coloured with a small white head. Sweet aroma ofg hay and caramel with notes of alcohol. Sweet flavour of hay, caramel and hops with notes of alcohol. Hoppy and burning alcoholic finish. Not bad, bot too alcoholic.

Botella. Clear deep golden. Malty and grainy bit sweet aroma. Fair mouthfeel. The flavour is mildly sweet with malt, grains and alcohol. Dry alco bit malty finish.

Bottle. Golden color. Citrus aroma, buttery and flowery. Malty sweet citric cookie dough flavor with some flowery hops shimmering through. Pineapple. Just a bit vinous. Grassy hops and butter in the aftertaste. Sticky mouthfeel, but quite nice.
