Tmavý speciál Německý Porter
Nefiltrovaný, nepasterizovaný, spodně kvašený speciál. Suché, chuťově vyzrálé pivo velmi tmavé barvy. Pražené slady dodávají pivu drsnější kávovou chuť. Zatímco originál London Porter (Anglie) je svrchně kvašené pivo, tato německá varianta je spodně kvašené pivo s klasickou dobou ležení po dobu alespoň 4 týdnů v tanku. German Porter přináší zajímavou a velmi unikátní kombinaci komplexnosti britského Ale a pitelnosti německého ležáku.

half-litre bottled, thanks to mowbeer for bringing this from pivni rozmanitost. richly black with a lasting light tan head; aroma of marbled chocolate; some licorice flavours and burnt bitterness; quite dry without much sweetness and a lightly acidic finish. just needs a bit of fine tuning to work as a porter

Clear dark dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dusty coffee, ash tray, butter. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, ash tray, roasted, dry, chocolate malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120317]

Bottle @ Mid March Tasting, Ulfborg 2012. Bought @ Zly Casy Pivoteka. 1 L. Bottle. Pours nearly black with a small creamy head. Nose is roast, ashes with some butter beneath. Flavor is roast, butter, liquorice and ashtray. Medium and soft - a bit thin perhaps. Hints of vanilla. Dry end.
