Papsoe (9771), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 17, 2005 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Nice amber colur, almost no head. Soft, lightly sweet malty notes of caramel making this a bit more interesting than the average American lager. Not that bad. zach8270 (1404), Henrietta, New York, USA Feb 28, 2004 Updated: Jul 15, 2004(bottle) Pours a dark golden brown with a decent sized white head. Very oddly sweet aroma; reminds me a bit of applesauce. Slightly sweet flavor that goes away quickly and leaves no aftertaste. Extremely watery for a lager. Tastes like a light beer. hershiser2 (845), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Feb 1, 2004 This has "CHEAP BEER" written all over it... and I should have known by the price! I guess it's "You get what you pay for." This beer is watery yellow, smells cheap, tastes cheaper, feels cruddy going down, and makes you hand these out when someone comes to visit (either that our pour it into a glass and tell them it's something else). Not gonna retry this one! Frank (1057), Chicago, Illinois, USA Sep 21, 2003 Golden brown color much darker than most American-style lagers. Very thin head. Light to medium bodied. Nose is slightly sweet. What would be light, refreshing flavor is weighed down by a slightly earthy, metallic bitterness in the finish. austinpowers (2827), New York, New York, USA Jul 21, 2003 The use of roasted barley really does make this lager amber-colored, which comes as a surprise. It lacks much hop bite but rather is fairly sweet and watery. Not complex at all.
