Suttree (2355), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 13, 2008 Smells like, well, apples, as one might guess. flavor is apples, too, and very clean and not cloying or medicinal. Some sugary notes, too. Also seems a bit heavy, too. Tasty, but definately not something to drink a lot of at on sittiing.
puzzl (1823), New York, New York, USA Oct 7, 2008 From a bottle. Incredibly pale pour, no head, very clear. Very sweet in both flavor and aroma, with some clean, cheap apple. No complexity or yeast to speak of... just cheap, filtered and fermented apple juice. The worst cider I’ve had by far. canary dog (393), Rutland, Vermont, USA Oct 6, 2008 Very rich and sweet cider. Full bodied and lush. Immediate and fresh apple flavors fill the mouth. Slightly tarter finish. And definite notes of alcohol, like any well-made cider. Very good. Goes superbly with sweet & spicy roast pork and vegetables on egg noodles. The_Beer_God (2859), Newport News, Virginia, USA Oct 4, 2008 Bottle. Hazy gold with floaties mixed throughout. Only random surface bubbles and no real head to speak of. Aroma is sweet, ripened apples, some sugary notes followed by light tart apple and apple skins. Taste is very sweet almost like a kids apple juice. Light apple skin flavors and ripe apples. Surprisingly this is very sweet and rather uncarbonated, unlike most ciders. Body is light and rather still. Very sticky sweet. Finishes with a bit of a bite. Some signs that it is at least fermented. More sweet apples, apple skins, light green apples and a bit of sugary sweetness. dirt55 (57), Washington, USA Sep 13, 2008 clear bright yellow pour with no head, sweet sweet aroma of apple cider (go figure), really sweet flavor with tart in the end, there’s not way this is 5.5 abv ...i need more... mephisto (1125), Taiwan Sep 2, 2008 dull orange with very little carbonation and has no head, it has tart aroma of sour apple. the taste is apple and east.
