Pours a golden color with a light foam head. Aroma is spice and apple, and so is the flavor. This is sweet with a soft, crisp body. Quite good.

22oz bottle pours out a golden topped with no head. Nose is honey sweetness apple juice and a little spice. Taste is more of the honey sweetness along with a heavy apple.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2015 Bomber from Schilling Cider House

Clear golden pour, green apple nose. Sweet like most JK’s ciders, a combination of Martinelli’s, golden raisins, and 7-up. Really big flavor for the 4.5%, and very easy drinking. Basically, sparkling cider for the craft beer set. Maybe that sounds like a dis, but I’ve never gone through a bomber of cider this quickly. Delicious.

Pours an orange golden color with a small bubbly white head. Notes of lemon lime soda, green raisins, and something sweet and medicinal. Overall nice.

Bottle. Head is initially very small, fizzy, fully diminishing. Body is dark yellow to light amber. Aroma is notes of caramel apples, light notes of honey and alcohol. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Light to medium body, watery/syrupy texture, fizzy carbonation, lightly astringent. Yet another caramel soda pop beer from this place.

Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark gold. Aroma seems raisin/grapey. Med body or nearly. It’s sweet raisin. Reminds of Sunkist snack boxes. Finishes far from dry, but it’s pretty interesting.

Bomber. Not my favorite of the Scrumpy’s lineup, but still one damn tasty cider. Orange are raisin are hinted at, but very lightly, other than that it’s a medium bodied sweet cider like they do so well. It’s good, but it’s not a need to try brew.

Aroma is apples and a mix of astringency/bad mead-like qualities. The flavor is apples, tangy fruit, slightly off funk and a sour/tart finish.

Bottle split with my wife. Pours a lightly hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Spicy and vibrant on the nose, yeast with a bit of funky apple and a sweet orange note. Medium-bodied, a bit on the sweet side but it’s balanced beautifully by the orange zest tones and bright acidity. Bright orange acidity into the finish, lingering sweet apple. Really interesting stuff, quite enjoyed this.
