Job, Blond, 6.0% alcohol. Afgekort verandert Chopin in Job.

Pale, light misty, frothy head. Soft citrus, grassy hop, apple. Fairly clean actually and fairly bitter too. Pretty nice on tap, classic appeal. But ripe for a more hopped version, please. (On tap at the brewpub)

The blonde session ale by De Kroon, since 2013, tasted on tap at the brewery. Off-white, sticky, very stable head, colour a misty ochre blonde. Sweet fruity aroma, apple, apricot, rosemary, honey, vanilla, gingerbread. Soft fruitiness in the mouth, apple with citrus touch, refreshing, mellow breadiness in the middle with sweetish malts, light yeastiness, mild peppery and grassy finish. Originality clearly is not what is aimed at here, but I can very much appreciate the fact that this brewery, lead by a brewing professor, intends to brew its beers to technical perfection and subtlety - and this approach has worked very well in this one (and the others so far).
