COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Scottish Ale has a rich, complex, deep malt character and a fair amount of residual sweetness, some smokiness and a low level of hop bitterness. Great with our smoked meats.

On tap, at brewpub. Reddish amber body, clear, with a small frothy off-white head. The nose is showing more diacetyl than anything. A little sweet toasted malt does make it past. The flavor is more buttered popcorn than beer. Sickeningly high levels of diacetyl. Some light husky and toasted malt if you really try hard. Mouthfeel is sticky and clingy with a slick buttery finish. Moderate fizzy carbonation. Yuck!
