Plum nose, cloudy caramel color. Rich bitter caramel, cake, cinnamon. Not bad, quite caramel focused but enjoyable brew.

(draught) pours a hazy ruby colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of light paint thinner, roasted malts, yeast, some herbal hops and cherries. flavour is mostly popcorn and husky roasted malts, with a light sweetness, some yeast, cherries and earth. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours sligtly hazy reddish copper brown with small off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, with notes of malt, and touches of yeast. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sweetish, fruity and malty touches. Very low carbonation. Mild, slightly bitter aftertaste. A trifle watery but not that bad.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy, dark amber colour with a small, off-white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malts, bread, fruits and a caramel note. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Finishes dry with toffee and sweet fruits. Middle of the road Dunkel.

Tap at the brewpub, reddish brown and slightly cloudy with a lacy head, a little bread and toffee on the nose, malty body with a bit of nutty roastiness. Quaffable yet forgettable.
