BlackHaddock (4150) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - DEC 16, 2014
10th Dec 2014: 0.4 litre glass. Draught @ the brewpub. Poured a cloudy, dull old gold with a white head. Crisp, refreshing but not very exciting. Mild aroma of yeastiness and bready malts. More hops than malts in the taste but not a lot of flavours to get worked up about.

Tap@source HH. Brewpub eggy pour. Aroma of at once very fresh wet hops and dank cellar, brewpub proteins. Taste has quite some more offish dank cellar on offer, grain, along with very fresh grains and wet hops. Lingering bitterness. Confusingly muddled.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours slightly hazy pale yellow with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast and raw malt. Bitter flavour of hops, mwith pronounced estery and raw, malty touches. Rough afteraste. Too rough for me, but drinkable.
