(draught) pours a deep murky ruby colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of pears and heavy lemon dishwash, with notes of husky pale malts, raisins and gooseberries. flavour is carmael, vanilla, more gooseberries and husky pale malts, with a medium sweetness and a herbal-hoppy light-bitter finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours murky dark amber with small off-white head. Clear aroma of yeast and malt, with touches of fruit. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sweetish notes of fruit and touches of malt and yeast. Lingering, bitter aftertaste. A nice one. If only it looked better!

ABV: 4.8%. Unclear - hazy medium orange amber colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dusty malt, licorice notes, light to moderate hoppy, caramelized caramel. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120210]

Tap at the brewpub. It’s unclear, warm golden with a white, creamy and lasting head. The aroma is mild with notes of malt and fruit. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of malt, fruit, light caramel and the finish is dry and citrus-like with a light bitterness.
