3.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 DerBiermeister (587) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - FEB 29, 2004
UPDATED: MAR 17, 2004 There was nothing stand-outish about the aroma. The beer looked great though. I had it on tap at Bailey's Irish pub in Birmingham and it was my first legal beer after I turned 21 on the day of my birthday. It was free and oh so sweet. I loved the flavour and the palate, its colour and gentle lace. It was so splendiferously magnunderful. I'm exaggerating. Slightly more enjoyable than Bitburger's Premium Pilsener.

pours a light orange color with a fluffy white head...lots of carbonation. malt aroma's with something like a sweet grass or straw like aroma, can't put my Nose on it!!! malty flavor with a slightly sweet and grassy undertone...pretty bland overall. light body and medium carbonation, glad i only bought a single.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Probiere (992) - Iowa, USA - FEB 8, 2004
Deep toffee smell, white grape juice, with hops hitting high on the roof of the mouth, minimal malt and slightly fizzy. Had at RB Philly gathering February 2004.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 egajdzis (4550) - Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 8, 2004
Copper color with a small white head. Mild sweet, malty (English caramel), lightly fruity aroma. Sweet and malty taste, nothing really stood out here.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 FlacoAlto (3086) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JAN 14, 2004
A brilliantly clear copper colored beer with gold notes to it. It is topped by a thick off white head. A sweet grainy aroma with perhaps a hint of hops contained in the nose. A little bit more hop oriented in the flavor, but it is still fairly subtle. The graininess is in the flavor as well. It finishes with a restrained hop bite. A pretty clean beer, seems like most of the flavor has been stripped out. Much better than a macro-lager but not enough flavor to get it much above mediocrity.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Kinz (2694) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - JAN 11, 2004
Draft, medium amber, OK head. Smells like beer. Taste is very light, undefined malts, with a bit of balancing bitterness. No definitive flavors anywhere. Nothing wrong here, just stunningly boring beer.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 defCon (19) - Albany, New York, USA - DEC 11, 2003
mostly watery with a bitter backtaste, not the best beer but it is filling and easy drinking
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Blake (396) - Orange, California, USA - DEC 8, 2003
Had on tap at Callahan's, San Diego on December 3, 2003 This is pretty much your standard pale ale, nothing to special to make it stand out. Easy to drink, lacking in flavor. Watery with an easy finish.
