Bright amber color with a off whit/cream colored head. Light lace. Heavy hops to start, that quickly evaporate from the nose leaving a dry caramel/toffee aroma. Light malt sweetness that wander aimlessly through the mouth until it find the throat and then is gone. Slight amount of acidity and a bit watery. A session type brew.

Blonde golden in colour with a white head. The aroma is pretty malty but otherwise somewhat mild. The taste was somewhat mild and not too hoppy. A decent beer, but not too great for the style. I had this beer on tap at the Ramada Inn (BWI Location).

Meduim-thin bodied, Starts with some malts but then some dry hops kick in at the finish. A mild Pale Ale.

yawn. oh, what, is it my turn to rate a beer?! sorry! okay, where's my notes? ah yeh, here we go: courage ale, um, beautiful golden waffle pint with a determined little match stick colored head. is that right? caramel-melon marris otter aroma, faint suggestion of anise. surprisingly nice twang of citrus bitters along with a sweet toasted nut-bready preamble. almost medium bodied but just too much water, i mean it's good water, i'm not complaining about the water--or the carbonation, i mean, it's fine. right? not challenging, but a decent quaffer. try freezing it slightly to make a lovely eis-courage.

An average English Pale Ale, on par with Fullers ESP, well on tap at least. Medium light in color and in taste. A good light beer for us Big Beer fans.

Poured a medium white head and there was good lacing on the sides of my mug. The body was gold color. It had a bitter taste to it and an aftertaste that lingered. Carbonation was observed rising to the top.
