Botttle-Bad time to rate as I had a Fuller just a few days before. The color was amber with a smallish head. Some hop taste and aroma, but not much. The aroma was a little, perhaps a stale smell. Not much taste, not much aroma, not much of a beer.

Pours a light amber. Conglomerate head with some lacing. Sour aroma. Crisp with a dry, lingering finish.

poured a clear gold with minimal head but decent lacing. aroma was grainy, nothing special. taste was quick, some malt but most the "dryness" is what stuck in my head. not bad but would not get again.

Had this on tap at the Captain Daniel Packer Inne in Mystic, CT. Not a very impressive beer. Lacked in flavor... and other beer things. Restaurant was great though. I had the pork loin. Don’t recommend the ale.

Kind of low on taste, it was like drinking thick water. Not bad, but nothing to write home about

Lots of floaty yeasts and settling chunks within a mid-copper body that seems hazed with all the particles. A goodly-sized head holds for awhile. Aroma is earthen minerals with caramel malts and Fugglish hops. Captures the flavor of a Bitter with additional sweetness... black tea, caramel, lemon. A nice, bittersweet offering.

Draught. Pours copper/brown with a very small white head. Grassy hops and quite a bit of biscuit make up the aroma, with faint malt and yeast notes. The flavor is malty at first, then becomes tangy. Medium hop finish and a bit of raw grain flavor. Not great, but makes a good pub-sipper.

Bottle. Pours amber gold, with a light fruit and malt aroma. Brown sugar, caramel, and malt flavors, but ultimately watery and boring.
