DocLock (4047), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 30, 2004 This one is sweet, creamy, and very smooth. Light yellow color with decent head. It isn't real complex or malty, but not bad for a cream ale. Like Amstel on steroids. Inveigler (371), Ferndale, Michigan, USA May 9, 2003 Tasted at the Washington D.C. branch. Thin yellow with a suprising rich looking head. Some light hop aroma and very little malt detected. The hops dominate the flavor too, making this much more crisp and dry than I would anticipate from a cream ale. With a little more malt body, this could be a nice pale ale; as is, nothing to write home about. jstu9 (402), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 15, 2001 Tasted like a stronger Budweiser type beer. Had the same type of flavor, but more distinct. That wasn’t a good indication.
