To celebrate our ten year anniversary we brewed this beer using the original recipe from ten years ago and tweaked it to be darker than the most nut browns. You're sure to enjoy this chocolaty and nutty English style ale.

This brew was at the Monroeville location and was listed as "Anniversary Nut Brown Ale". It was brewed from the original recipe then tweaked to celebrate their ten year anniversary. Looks like a stout or porter. Very dark indeed and very opaque. Cannot smell much but what I do smell is a bit roasty. Some roastyness continues over to the taste. This is certainly an ale with it’s hop and malt bitterness but it sure does approach the behavior of a a porter or stout. If it was not listed as a brown ale, I would say its a porter. Somebody must have got the recipes mixed up! Mild creamy carbonation. Finish is mild to medium length bitter.
