beerbill (3376) - Laurel, New York, USA - MAY 15, 2009
On tap at JH. Pours a mostly clear gold with a thin-moderate white head that faded to a film after a few sips and left spotty lace. The aroma is very light malt and not too much us else going on. The flavor is a stronger dose of malt along with some lager yeast and bread. A bit of light fruit emerges towards the finish. Mild bitterness. A solid, if unexciting beer.

Tap at JH. Aroma of bready malt, sweet light fruits/citrus notes, and a bit of a metallic edge. Flavor quite fruity and refreshing, but that metallic character and a mild astringency is distracting. Good potential here...

On tap at JH. Pours a clear, light orange with a small white head. Aroma of sweet fruits and a touch of citrus. Flavor of light wheat malt and some light fruits in the finish. Crisp with a solid palate. Very easy drinking and quite enjoyable to drink. A winner! 7/4/7/4/15 (3.7/5)

Pale golden/amber colour, slightly cloudy with a thin head. Sweet pale malt. Light apple and pear with a touch of honeyish sweetness. Freshly malty with a light soapiness. Itís okay.

Translucent yellow body, with a decent, bright-white head. Great, strong malty aroma, blended well with a rich hop balance. Crisp and clean, very refreshing to drink. Pleasant, malty finish makes this an enjoyable brew.

Clear golden out of the tap, with a slight copper tint, and a small, but lasting head - aroma of honey, cane sugar, light floral touches - the flavor, at first, seems a bit too bitter, but the rather high sweetness compensates for this somewhat - honey sweetness is the most apparent characteristic - there are some floral and herbal flavors that donít quite mix with the bitter/hop profile as well as they could, sometimes making the beer taste soapy - more honey, and a bit of lavender in the finish - not their best, but a decent effort.
