This strong golden Belgian ale is light in body while at at same time having some residual sweetness. Pear, clove and citrus flavors come through in this delicate and delicious ale. Be careful! At 8.0% ABV this beer can be devilishly deceiving.

UPDATED: MAR 15, 2011 One of my favorite styles of beer. Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a bright golden color with a very small white head. The aroma was sweet, sugary, tangy and fruity. The flavor was tangy, sweet and sugary with a deep fruity pear undertone. The beer was fairly thick bodied. There was a light taste of alcohol but not real alcohol burn. Very nice.
