This seemed to be the beer I had... tasted like a Belgian Abbey beer, and was brown-maroon in the glass. Bartendress told me it was called "Bleu" and was "a Belgian styled ale". So here we are. Rich dirt and molasses aroma. Lemony, slightly strong tasting, but some excellent drink. Some bubbles and lacing, which are nice touches. This is a place to think deep thoughts, though maybe not with the most cognizant of people. This is the type of beer to do it with. Fruitastic and gorgeous. Pride of the orchard here in this beer. Rosy and bright tasting. Occaisional white flecks. Lingering lemon taste. Harvard Square location.

Had this as part of the sampler at the Wayne, Pa location. Good drinkable brown. Needed ro be a little smoother in the malt area.

Nice dark brown color with medium head. Good maltiness, with subdued hops. I taste black cherries in this beer...it reminds me of a kriek. Very tart, but in a good way. Finish is tart and sweet. This would be great with cherry pie, chocolate cake, or a good cigar.

Brown color, thick white head with great retention, excellent lacing as well, a great balance between sweet malt & a tone of candy sugar, this was a great combination of styles, the qualities of both a brown ale and a belgian showed through, great session beer, very enjoyable
