Dark amber hue with light-brown, fizzy head. Aroma is of sweet malts with evident banana notes. Initial taste is moderately sweet, moving to a dominantly alcoholic finish. Heavy banana presence at the finish. Light to medium on the body, it has a watery texture with soft carbonation.
We have not encountered a beer with this particular taste before. Very unique. This is the first solid offering we’ve come across.

Lots of banana esters, with the clovey and caramel/chocolate flavours i associate with the style. This was perhaps more chocolatey than others. Quite sweet it has to be said. Nice, but not quite up to German standards.
