bierkoning (4738), La Tropica, Netherlands Aug 11, 2003 Cask, GBBF. Maltaroma. Malty and hoppy flavor with blackcurrant, raisin and licorice. Oily. Long lasting finish. hopdog (4568), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 3, 2006 22oz bottle shared courtesy of weeare138 (thanks!). Poured a deep orange color (with kind of a red tint) and a small sized off white head. Aromas of pine, citrus, light caramel, and grass. Tastes of caramel (stronger than the aromas), light citrus, and pine. egajdzis (2970), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 3, 2006 Poured an amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, with some resiny pine, and grassy hops. Taste of piney hops, toasted dough, citrus fruits, caramel malts, with some grapefruit in the finish. Thanks Mike! rauchbier (2873), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England Aug 26, 2003 Cask, GBBF2003. Amber colour, moderate head and condition. Reminded me of the aroma of 90 Minute IPA, with a good blend of American hops, caramel and fresh grain. Full bodied with the malt flavours dominating the hops in the mouth, but a hop bitter mouthcoating finish reminds you those hops are still in there.
