Commercial Description:
A stronger alcohol scottish beer with loads of complexity. We used dark roasted grains and malt smoked with peat. A sweey balance of caramel malts.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a dark brown color with a small khaki head. The aroma was grassy and lightly smoky. The flavor was strong charcoal and not a whole lot else as the peak really overwhelmed all other possible flavors. Yuck.

Has a roasted mildly sweet aroma. Look is nearly pitch black, almost opaque. Barely any carbonation on the palate. Comes across something like a porter, perhaps even a good example of a sweet porter. Has the same aroma and back of throat sensations. Yes, very porter-ish. Overall, if you are seeking a non offensive dark beer, here it is.
