popdoggy (100), USA Apr 19, 2008 Pretty good pale ale. This was better than the one up the road at the trinity. i think. I enjoyed this one with a pals from long island, buffalo, and australia. good times. decent brew.
Immy (1497), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Jan 20, 2007 On tap at the brewpub, listed as "Providence Pale", but I think this is the same beer. Clear gold with a thin white head. Grainy malt and herbal hop dominate the nose. Sweetly malty flavors mildly resinous. Decent drinker. hopdog (4482), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 7, 2006 On tap at the Springfield, PA location. I guess I’ll put my rating here seeing that Tom put his here as well. Poured a medium and see through orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas and tastes of caramel and citrus. Some lacing left on the glass. Thinner body. TomDecapolis (2371), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 3, 2006 Had this on tap at the Springfield PA location. Billed as the Haunted Star Pale Ale. Not sure this is the correct beer to add this under or if I should have entered a new beer. But it wasn’t that great so I’m just going to add it under here since it is an APA by John Harvards. Pours a golden amber with no head. Aroma of caramel malt, some sweet orange, kind of mellow. Flavor of sweet malts, some very light pine and citrus. Watery. growler (74), West Virginia, USA Nov 19, 2005 sampler at the pub. clear, golden color with a slight white head. Light citrus, hoppy aroma. Bitter up front. Still a bit light, could use a boost in the malt department. Decent, but not great
