ClarkVV (3545), Allston, Massachusetts, USA Nov 10, 2004 2004 draught @ BBF. Light brown appearance with a touch of dark copper. Good white head. Smells of spice (clove, cinnamon, coriander, pepper) and dry wood. Body is medium, somewhat thin if I remember correctly, with a small amount of fruitiness, moderate belgian yeast presence and a very dry, somewhat astringent finish. There is a touch of sweet malt, that or perhaps some dark candi sugar. Anyways, it’s an interesting beer. dirtymike (2019), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA May 17, 2004 Deep copper to ruby in color with a large off-white head.aroma of dark fruit and spice.Sweet malt flavor with spice and a slight tartness.
