ROGUE (2200) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - DEC 28, 2009
On tap at brew house. Poured a very hazy light gold with a thin head. Aroma was mild tart berries. Taste has a mild tart fruit flavor, along with wheat and light mellowing malts. It finishes crisp and clean with little bitterness. A very light and flavorful fruity beer that is not overly sweet.

Beautiful raspberry aroma, lovely olfactory. Pinkish cloudy brown, no head. Good palate tingle. Tart yet not sweet. Fruity flavors overwhelm but even tho it is tart is is not on the sour side! Leaves a dull ale mild bitter finish. Simple fruit mixed with wheat ale. Overall, not bad and for a fruit beer itís above my average.

FROTHINGSLOSH (6850) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 27, 2007
Sampled at the Monroeville PA location this beer poured the color of murky pink grapefruit juice. The aroma was tart and tangy vague berry. The flavor was dry, tart and bitter with a moderately strong vague berry flavor. The finish was tart and dry.

On tap at the Harvard Square location. Pours a reddish amber brown color, mildly hazy and medium white head. Has a faint raspberry aroma, some wheat. Flavor is similar, wheat comes through more in the finish, mild raspberry tartness. I'd liken this to raspberry iced tea. Not very interesting, not all that much flavor either, just easy to drink.

I like this beer. It isn't super rich or hoppy, but the raspberry tastes natural, and it is very smooth. Very heady. A nice fruit style for hot weather.

Springfield, PA location... Hazy red/pink color with a white head and nice lace. Sweet berry aroma. Wheaty and rasberry taste (name fits this one well!) with a rather full mouthfeel. This was a nice beer. But indeed, extract seems to take precedence over real fresh raspberries.

ravidesai (978) - Bombay, INDIA - FEB 3, 2002
(monroeville,PA brewpub)A nice light fruit beer, light hazy yellow color similar to a hefeweiss. raspberries are immediate obvious from the sweet fruity aroma. however on drinking the tart rasberry taste is not there causing this to taste like a rather sweet wheat beer with some rasberry extract.
