3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at JH. Aroma of sweet malt, peanut butter drizzle, caramel drizzle, hard to find any hops. Flavor continues be very dessert like with those drizzles as well as loads of graham cracker, pie crust, flaky pastry notes, a world of dessert. Exquisitely smooth and not sugary or cloying despite all the dessert notes. Fun stuff.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On cask at JH. To elaborate on the commercial description, this beer was referred to as an "unnamed" red, distinct from other red beers that they have brewed in the past. This is their first batch I think, but they had another one brewing in the tanks which was labeled as "Red" so thatís what I have decided to label it as here. Anyway, pours a murky brown with a tan head. Aroma of sweet malt and sweet fruits, rather vague. Flavor of sweet caramel malt. Drinkable certainly but not very complex. Pleasant and enjoyable.
