A Belgian-style red ale spiced with star anise, coriander and orange peel to balance the sweet caramel malt flavor.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a dark red-amber color with a small white head. The aroma was sweet, sugary and had undertones of ripe fruits. The flavor was sweet, sugary and a bit yeasty with a strong tangy ripe fruit element and a long sugary finish. Definitely my style of beer though I could not detect much of the spice they indicated brewing this one with.
