Cask at Manchester, CT location. Mildly sweet, grainy, with a minute chocolate aroma. This aroma is challenging to discern and somewhat boring. Opaque dark brown/black with a yellow/tan head. Bittersweet, unsweetened chocolate notes in the start, which turns much more roasted in the middle. Somewhat dry with mild hops to finish. The oatmeal is not as assertive as I expected. A solid stout, though.
